The CTM Maturity Index, covering the UK and major European markets, confirms that corporate buyers are now ranking AI adoption and data transparency as selection criteria for travel partners.
My read for the next 12 months: hotels that cannot produce verifiable operational data, on sustainability, on maintenance records, on actual guest sentiment, will lose corporate contracts to those that can. DMOs promoting destinations should start thinking about which properties in their portfolio can survive that filter. The question is not whether you have AI tools. It is whether your data can withstand scrutiny when a procurement algorithm asks for proof.
